Other Solution The fields of application of the TXcom terminals are virtually unlimited except by the imagination of their users. Everywhere where the traceability, the need for information in real time is required, the TXcom terminals can bring adequate solutions.

►Other solutions Management of the spare parts for the army It is a true headache to find the storage site in France for a spare part of a material evolving/moving sometimes thousands of kilometers far from the country. A reliable system of stock management with highly secured radio connections was thus mandatory. TXcom developed self-made protocols specifically for the army, in order to guarantee a perfect discretion of the communications, be they indoor or outdoor between the various sites of storages. Taking into account the extended area covered by the storage sites, TXcom deployed several radio technologies : point-to-point bridges between sub-networks with directive patch antennas, and point-to-multi-point for the local area networks where it is necessary to follow the movements of the forklifts which transport the spare parts. Inventory control of the fixed assets By definition, the heavy equipments in companies gathered under the term "fixed assets" are supposed to be fixed, and the fact is that they are distributed everywhere in the company. When there are office moves, the assignments of these assets change sometimes: for example a large photocopier that cannot be moved easily will be reallocated. Contrariwise, the opposite can occur, when the assets is easier to move such as a fax. In that case, the asset can move without notice. With simple a Bluetooth® dongle connected on the USB port of a computer (or laptop), the operator can use the EPSILON 2 Bluetooth, to scan the various assets, read their references and other attributes, possibly modify attributes like the location with manual input onto the keyboard, and update the inventory in real time.
